About Us
Founded in 2017, We Are ALX is a nonpartisan, collaborative institution advancing American prosperity by expanding Latino economic mobility, strengthening leadership representation, and generating research that informs policy, practice, and investment.
We believe economic growth is strongest when opportunity reaches every community. That is why ALX serves as the connective infrastructure linking people, institutions, and opportunity, cultivating the economic, civic, and social capital that fuels innovation, strengthens businesses, and expands leadership across Massachusetts, and that is replicable elsewhere. Together, we are building a model for shared prosperity that can shape the future of the nation.
This is how we are making an impact today:
- We are BUILDING the most robust Latino network in Massachusetts.
- We CHAMPION policies that make Massachusetts more equitable and competitive.
- Our ALX BUSINESS PROGRAM offers free bilingual, culturally relevant, and intensive strategic business advice to launch Latino American owned businesses to the next level. We offer individual consulting and facilitate connections to existing resources, increasing access to capital and equitable contracting opportunities.
- We shape POSITIVE, fact-based narratives of Latino Americans and champion emerging leaders for highly VISIBLE opportunities.
